This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working with civil construction plant, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge. The individual may provide theoretical advice and support a team.

The program is delivered over a period of up to 24 months or within a converted timeframe to meet our student's requirements. The package is self-paced supported by face to face training with a particular emphasis on practical training and assessment conducted in the workplace.
The Total cost for the course is $11,500 per person. It is possible you may be eligible for subsidy from one of a number of funding organisations.
To be eligible for course enrolment, students must be at least 18 years of age and be employed by an employer who works within the civil construction industry. Students must hold a General Construction Induction (White Card) prior to enrolment in the course as it is pre-requisite in order to enter any construction industry workplace. This may be obtained after successful completion of: CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry
Units of competency with a practical application are trained and assessed on–site (in the workplace) and will be conducted in consultation with the employer. Vertical Horizonz Australia (VHA) will endeavour to provide training and assessment within an agreed schedule.
Units of competency with a theory application may be trained and assessed on-site or at Vertical Horizonz Australia (VHA) training facility, 3/94 Delta St, Geebung. Vertical Horizonz Australia (VHA) will endeavour to provide theory training and assessment within a mutually agreed schedule.
