Theory Lessons: A training room is required that can hold the number of scheduled trainees. The VHNZ trainer will bring their own laptop, projector for theory lessons.
Practical Lessons: VHNZ will provide a set of confined space equipment but trainees are welcomed and encouraged to make their own equipment available for use during training. It is certainly advantageous to provide your own gas detection equipment so they understand the specifics of your detector. Please also let us know if you require a tripod to be provided if your company conducts top entries.
For Confined Space training on your site it’s helpful to have the following:
- A simulated CS aligned to your work type.
- Or an actual CS where risks can be effectively controlled in a manageable environment.
We strive to be as accommodating as possible and can conduct practical lessons on the majority of sites. A VHNZ trainer will do a site tour on the day prior or the morning of a training course to establish the best practical area for training.
Note: An advance copy of your own safe system of work for entry into confined spaces will enable us to take account of this as part of the course.
