Info

Purpose

This course provides safe working knowledge for loading and unloading service vehicles along with the use of suitable tools and equipment. It does not include handling of dangerous goods.

Course Objectives

On completion of this course learners will be able to:

  • Plan the loading of a goods vehicle.
  • Load a goods vehicle.
  • Restrain, secure, and protect the load.
  • Unload a goods vehicle.

Who Should Attend

This unit standard is intended for employees as well as students and those in pre-employment training.

Delivery via face-to-face learning with support from an experienced trainer.

Should a vehicle need to be hired for training, please note that further fees may apply.
