Dave, what is your first memory of the importance of safety?
I remember Safety was paramount where ever you went in the Military, this being on the open range, driving vehicles or in the barracks.
What has surprised you most about working within Health and Safety, Industry training?
The amount of miss information that is out there; Companies or Managers need to invest time and energy into their Staff to ensure they are trained properly to operate safely in a work environment.
What do you wish other people knew about safety in New Zealand?
For everyone to take responsibility in the Workplace; to build a culture of acceptance.
Tell me about something you've learnt while working at VHNZ?
That there are companies out there investing in their staff.
What might (someone) be surprised to know about you?
If you require advice on Sport shoes (not Fashion) on the in's and out's, happy to help.
If you were alone on a dessert island and could only take three items what would you take?
Food (this includes wine),
