This unit standard is for people who work on water, or wastewater, or stormwater reticulation systems, which collectively make up water reticulation services.
NZQA Unit Standard
- Identify the location, and work procedure to be carried out in the water industry.
- Examine an entry plan for completeness, and enter, complete work, and withdraw from a confined space in the water industry.
- Practical training will be conducted utilising the student's onsite working environment and permit to work material.

Attendance Numbers Minimum of 8, maximum of 10 per trainer.
Course Duration 1 day
Must have completed NZQA unit 18426, Demonstrate knowledge of hazards associated with confined spaces. Evidence for all trainees must be sighted prior to their attendance.
This course requires a level of fitness to demonstrate competency for the skill being trained.
Practical training will be conducted utilising the client's onsite working environment and permit to work material.
