    Advanced Fall Arrest and Recovery Techniques

Purpose
To further enhance the knowledge base of personnel in advance fall arrest methods. In addition trainees will be introduced to self rescue techniques and the construction of basic pulley systems for onsite recoveries.

Course Objectives
This course has been developed to enhance the skill level in fall arrest methods for personnel who hold a *current fall arrest qualification in unit standard 15757 Use, install and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems when working at height. 

NZQA Unit Standard
Non unit standard based training.

Attendance Numbers     Minimum of 8, maximum of 10 per trainer
Course Duration            1 day

Entry Criteria
Trainees must have attended and passed a Fall Arrest course (unit standard 15757) within the last 3 years.
